Calibers: 30 cal and under
Equipment needed for course:
- Target grade rifle and optic
- 200-250 rounds of ammo.
- Rifle and ammo should hold 1 MOA
Accessories needed:
- Bipod
- Rear bag and/or support bag
- Data solver
- Notebook/pens
- Ear Pro
2 Day course
Course Description:
Basic Precision Rifle clinic. We will go over methods and procedures to become a proficient long-range marksman. All skills will be applicable to field shooting, hunting, and competition.
Topics include:
- Range safety
- Rifle/optic setup
- Fundamentals of marksmanship
- How to properly setup a ballistic solver
- Data and gear management
- Effects of atmospheric conditions and bullet drop at longer ranges
- Reticle use/Holdovers
- Positional shooting
